Planning A Dominican Baseball Camp?
Here are answers to some of the most common questions teams and families ask before traveling to the Dominican Republic.
What does a Vias Baseball camp cost?
Our standard 7-day/6-night Dominican baseball camp is $2,495 per player, based on double occupancy. The price includes games and training, six nights at an all-inclusive hotel, meals, in-country transportation, scheduled cultural experiences, and community service. Airfare is separate. A $500 deposit per player is due at registration, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Parents and additional family members are $800 per person. Contact us →
Who can participate in a Vias Baseball camp?
We work with travel, high school, college, academy, and international teams. Individual players ages 10U–18U may also join selected Vias Build-a-Team departures. Individual players must travel with a parent or guardian.
How long are your baseball camps?
Our standard Dominican baseball camp is 7 days and 6 nights. Longer or customized itineraries may be available for teams with different schedules or travel goals.
Will we play Dominican teams?
Yes. Competitive games against Dominican teams are a central part of the experience. Opponents are selected according to your team's age, competition level, schedule, and local availability.
Can we visit MLB academies?
Many itineraries include a visit to an MLB academy or professional development facility, where players can learn about Dominican player development and the path to professional baseball. Academy visits depend on team schedules, operating restrictions, and availability.
Where do teams stay?
Standard camps include six nights at an all-inclusive hotel in Juan Dolio, based on double occupancy. Lodging may vary for customized experiences. Learn more on our Where Teams Stay page.
Is the experience only about baseball?
No. Baseball is the foundation of the experience, but teams also encounter Dominican culture, local communities, food, history, service, and relationships that often become the most memorable parts of the week.
